Job Title – Director of Finance (Controller)

Our partner mission is to enable elite infrastructure performance for billions of transactions at the intersection of Web3 and commerce.
Key Skills/Required/Experience needed
Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Finance will work cross-functionally with the sales, operations, and executive leadership teams to deliver quantitative analyses and institutionalize the Finance function within a dynamic (and rapidly growing) organization. Primarily, the role will involve process-oriented financial planning & analysis (FP&A) to empower business decisions. The position will also oversee monthly and quarterly business performance metrics and related reporting. In addition, you will be responsible for building detailed reporting and systems for company’s business of staking and node operations.
Lead internal financial and scenario analyses, including forecasts and dashboards, to inform day-to-day business decisions.
Support business development activities through deal structuring, negotiations, and modeling (i.e., revenue, tokens staked, and assets under staked).
Inform company strategy and executive leadership decision making through knowledge of financials drivers, risks, trade-offs, and opportunities.
Build and maintain financial reporting process framework, including externally facing investor communications.
Establish reporting and systems for tracking and reconciliation of staking rewards and payouts.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant field.
7 to 10 years of finance experience, including previous experience as a Director of Finance or Controller.
Highly-detailed understanding of financial assets, including private and private capital markets
Advanced financial modeling (excel) competency, including ability to organize and manipulate large data sets
Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create high quality supporting collateral in powerpoint
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail, coupled with a highly analytical and inquisitive work style
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop and to share succinct narratives regarding business metrics and company’s strategic direction.
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.
Experience working in high-growth fast-paced environments with strong processes mindset and superior documentation skills
Experience with digital assets and/or commodities
CPA and/or previous professional accounting experience
Location: Europe (Switzerland Preferred); Remote-first + Hybrid
