Job Title: Founding Full Stack Engineer

Salary/Bonus: $200k – $250k + Equity/Tokens

We are partnered with a pioneering startup at the forefront of virtual economies. They’re on a mission to build the first financial markets for dApps, enabling participants to invest in and own the digital economies they love.

The team is driven by the belief that token economies are the future of finance, and they are committed to lowering barriers to access and participation in DeFi. Through their innovative products, they are working to create an open financial system where users can invest thoughtfully and reap the rewards of their participation.
 

Having secured c. $4m in funding to pursue this goal, they are now seeking a talented individual to join them in developing cutting-edge solutions to the challenges of decentralized finance. They are looking for a creative problem-solver who is passionate about building the future of virtual economies and excited about the opportunity to work at the forefront of this exciting and rapidly evolving industry.

Experience needed:
 

• Prior experience building production-grade financial or analytics products, including complex backend systems and data-rich frontends
• 7+ years of full stack experience, a degree in math or computer science
• 5+ years Javascript (React, Node.js, Redux, Express, Typescript) and SQL (MySQL/Postgres) experience
• 5+ years working within Git, CI/CD and testing frameworks 
• 2+ years of HTML/CSS experience
• 3+ years of AWS experience:
• Setting up and maintaining MySQL/Postgres databases and servers
• Managing frontends using Amplify
• Native to advanced English competency
   

Bonus points for:
 

• Solidity, Web3.js
• UNIX Bash, Shell, or TailwindCSS, Python scripting experience
• Strong understanding of the EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) and L2s
• Passion for blockchain, DeFi, crypto, video games, data, and/or economics 
• Experiences with financial services or crypto trading systems
   

Benefits:

• $200k-250k + Equity/Token allocation
• Fully Remote, requiring a minimum of 4hr time overlap with EST
• Offices planned in US
