Head of Business Development (DeFi)


The Company
This DeFi as a service company helps institutions, asset management and general retail clients earn additional interest with yield farming solutions, with an intuitive view of your portfolios with a clear dashboard. enables buy ready-to-use portfolios or create a new one. Enable automated rebalancing instead of making trades yourself. You’ll be leading B2B vertical (DeFi-as-a-Service), partnerships and special projects to achieve a target of $125m TVL (AUM) by late 2023 from a standing start on the B2B side.

About the Job

  • Actively reach out and talk to potential clients (asset managers, hedge funds, family offices, DAOs and crypto projects), fully understand their problems and needs
  • Form a panel of 5-10 institutional clients to pressure-test our value proposition, pricing and revenue model as well as pilot our MVP
  • Conduct demos and speak at industry conferences
  • Negotiate contract terms and close deals
  • Get your hands dirty with other day-to-day start-up operations and dive into the Web3 rabbit hole

Job Requirements/Key Skills

  • Genuine interest and personal experience in DeFi
  • Good grasp of Traditional Finance and basic understanding of Portfolio Management
  • Relentless enthusiasm and willingness to be in the driver’s seat of an early-stage VC-backed start-up
  • Experience in Consulting/IB/Startup or another high-paced environment is a plus
  • Prior Sales experience with a good knowledge of sales techniques is a plus
  • Previous experience in traditional asset management is a plus
