Title – Solution Engineer
About the role – A unique computer and network cybersecurity blockchain protocol is looking for an experienced solution engineer to work closely with sales, customers, development, marketing, design, product teams to create solutions and deliver great solutions to the customer.
Key responsibilities
- Provide solutions to business problems using our technology, and understand Cybersecurity/Blockchain/P2P and how it applies to the distributed peer to peer web
- Provide feedback to the development and R&D teams and translate it into product documentation and inform clients
- Work directly with customers to gather and analyze project requirements
- Design, implement, and deploy solutions for projects that incorporate NP software and functionality
- Install, configure, and license software for implementation
- Review and test new NP product releases to discover bugs and potential improvements
- Support Sales and Customer Success as the product subject matter expert with existing and prospective client engagements
- Prepares and conducts product demos and presentations as well as assisting with RFP/Is, and putting together use cases
- Proactively research and develop points of view in alignment with industry knowledge and understanding of the customer’s enterprise vision/mission
- Work with Business Intelligence team to develop business cases and use cases
Key skills and attributes
- Cyber security or networks experience, understanding different challenges by customers in cybersecurity areas like recent hacks etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills, an ability to troubleshoot complex and dynamic environments, to manage competing priorities and task deadlines
- Knowledgeable about competitors and what they are doing in the market
- Proficiency in one scripting language and Expertise in utilizing and debugging software
- Understanding of networking, including troubleshooting, performance and tuning
- Strong fundamental understanding of cybersecurity challenges and solutions, p2p systems and operating systems
- Expertise in writing product materials and tutorials, producing video content and publishing long form content with our content team
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering
